“Facebook today announces a three-year investment program in Brazil to support news outlets, of all sizes and regions, and to train thousands of journalists. As part of the initiative, the company has signed commercial agreements with 20 news organizations. In addition, Facebook will invest, in addition to these agreements, more than US$ 2.6 million in the next 12 months dedicated to innovation funds and projects developed in collaboration with press associations, which together represent more than 200 outlets in the country."
