"The Peruvian press denounced that five journalists were attacked on March 8, outside the Peruvian Congress. They were covering the demonstrations around the debate in Parliament on a vote of confidence in the cabinet of ministers.

A cameraman from the Latina TV channel was thrown to the ground and his camera was taken from him, which ended up broken. And a photographer from the weekly magazine Caretas was dragged by the hair by alleged supporters of the Pedro Castillo government, according to the Institute of Press and Society (IPYS, by its Spanish acronym)."
