Foreign correspondents in Chile warn about police treatment of communicators who cover social demonstrations

"The Association of Correspondents of the International Press in Chile (ACPI) warned this Monday about excessive 'police zeal' that is exercised over 'the work carried out by journalists, cameramen and photographers of social demonstrations.' This happened within the framework of the events that occurred last Friday when a police officer pushed a protester from the Pío Nono bridge on the Mapocho river in downtown Santiago."
