Recordings made by witnesses show that, upon noticing the presence of the reporting team from the Guanaré Communication System, who were identified by a canopy and badge, Marinho moved towards the news professionals. After yelling to intimidate journalists, he grabbed a camera that was attached to a tripod and threw it on the ground. The Guanaré Communication System estimates that it will spend around R$40,000 ($8,000 USD) to replace the damaged camera."
