‘President, this week, they threatened to kill [Posadas’] children and wife. Last night, a vehicle without a license plate was monitoring him and followed him. Please act [...],' Meza said in her message.

Posadas has been the target of repeated threats since 2023, which is why he is a beneficiary of the Protection Mechanism where he is accompanied by Asopodehu. The threats tend to intensify depending on the subject he is covering, especially if it is about the environment, Posadas previously said."
