"[...] The IAPA [Inter American Press Association] expressed its solidarity with journalist Sebastiana Barráez, of Infoabe, and 'rejected the arrest order from the regime of Nicolás Maduro that accuses her, along with other journalists and activists, of treason, terrorism and attempted murder against the president.'
The IAPA said that 'the regime of Nicolás Maduro has accustomed us to denouncing and inventing conspiracies every time it seeks to tie up the independent press, the opposition and human rights activists. Now it has gone on the rampage against Sebastiana Barráez, journalist of Infobae, and other journalists and human rights activists.'"
