"The Inter American Press Association (IAPA) is calling journalists from the Americas to apply for a scholarship for the next edition of the Diploma in Freedom of Expression for Journalists.
The course, which will begin on Mar. 21, is part of the activities of the IAPA's Chapultepec Index on Freedom of Expression and the Press. It will be taught by scholars from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB) of Venezuela and specialized journalists from IAPA member media will also contribute their expertise.
The IAPA Scholarship Fund will offer 30 scholarships for journalists from different countries who will participate in an online course of 120 academic hours. This program is endorsed by the UCAB's International Center for Professional Development."
