"Independent Cuban journalist Pedro Luis Hernández is at home safe and sound, after the political police in Havana deported him to the province of Sancti Spíritus, where he lives with his wife and prevented him from carrying out his work, according to what the also training director of the Cuban Institute for Freedom of Expression and Press (ICLEP) told CiberCuba.
Hernández arrived in Havana this Wed. June 1 to conduct an interview. However, he never showed up at the place where he was expected because he was detained by the police."
