Indie publisher to release book by Colombian journalist censored by Grupo Planeta

"After intense days and a lot of effort, we opened the pre-sale of La Costa Nostra with a Fondo Ciudadano contra el Silencio, so this book reaches the Colombian outskirts where there are no bookstores...ʼ. This is how the author and journalist Laura Ardila herself announced the publication of the book about the Char family, an arduous investigation that won the Simon Bolivar National Journalism Award and that will reach readers with the independent publishing house Rey Naranjo Editores.

For its part, the publisher made the announcement days before saying that: ʽToday the wait is over for all those who have asked us about this great project.ʼ This is because the book will see the light after publisher Planeta made the decision not to publish it, a situation that created a major scandal."
