"The Press and Society Institute (IPYS, by its Spanish acronym) announces the 2022 edition of the Latin American Prize for Investigative Journalism, the most important award in the specialty in the region. The organization will receive applications until June 30, the day after which a jury made up of journalists with extensive experience will evaluate the registered journalistic pieces, which will compete for a prize of US $5,000 (five thousand US dollars). Open to investigations published in any medium (written, radio, television, multimedia and/or internet), published between Sept. 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022, in any journalistic medium in the region, in the languages of Spanish, Portuguese or English."
