"First it was journalism and now it will be the country. Christian Zurita confirmed this Aug. 28 that he will leave Ecuador since he does not want to spend all his days with a bulletproof vest and in the middle of strict security protocols.
'I have a security capsule that is very strong (...) I do not expect that for my life, I have to effectively take some time for myself,' he said in an interview with the channel Ecuavisa.
According to Zurita, who replaced the deceased candidate Fernando Villavicencio on the presidential ballot, the Police have established that he must travel with a bulletproof vest and wear a helmet in open areas."
