“Members of the journalist collective NiUnoMás in Michoacán, Mexico, demanded authorities hand over to the family of journalist Mauricio Cruz Solís all the information available on his murder.
Given the lack of information from the State Attorney General's Office, the collective said in a statement that, two months since the murder of Cruz Solis in the center of the city of Uruapan, they still do not know if any progress has been made in the investigation.
'Those who work as journalists in Michoacán are once again witnesses to the indolence of the authorities in guaranteeing access to justice in the case of a crime against a journalist', the collective said."
