"Dominican lawyer and journalist Pedro Jiménez denounced this Wednesday [12 July] having received threats from Miguel Arturo López (alias Micky), listed in a drug trafficking file, as does his wife, the deputy for the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM, by its Spanish acronym), Rosa Amalia Pilarte.
Through the radio program 'El Sol de la Mañana', Jiménez said he received a message from López in which he told him to investigate before speaking so that 'you don't go look for trouble', because he had mentioned in a 'journalistic discussion' that the businessman and his wife were linked to a drug trafficking case.
The journalist also revealed that after verifying the 'seriousness' of the threats, he arranged to meet today with the deputy prosecutor and director of Prosecution of the Public Prosecutor's Office, Yeni Berenice Reynoso."
