"The city of Rio Branco dismissed a communication advisor of the Secretariat of the Environment, João Renato Jácome.
On Wednesday (Feb. 24), the journalist was working as a freelancer for newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo. He went to the press conference of President Jair Bolsonaro, who was visiting Acre, and questioned Bolsonaro about the Superior Court of Justice's decision to annul the breach of confidentiality of Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, of the Republicans, in the 'rachadinhas' investigation. With the court's decision, the senator's bank and tax data cannot be used as evidence.
The Rio Branco city hall declared that when João Renato Jácome was appointed to the commissioned post at the city hall, he did not say that he was working for another company. Also according to the note, the public servant needs to be exclusively dedicated to city hall."
