"Venezuelan-Ecuadoran journalist Andersson Boscán, co-founder of the digital media outlet La Posta, announced this Thursday [Feb. 14] that he will collaborate with the investigations that the Prosecutor's Office decided to carry out on his telephone conversations with the alleged drug trafficker and money launderer Leandro Norero, murdered in prison in 2022.
After several local media indicated that the Prosecutor's Office plans to open a preliminary investigation into the messages exchanged between Boscán and Norero, the journalist stated that for him it is a relief that it is an investigation independent from the 'Metastasis' case.
Among the messages collected there are communications in which the journalist requests information from 'Patrón' Norero about the management of customs policies and clarified that he was not interested in information about smuggling and drugs."
