"Given the death of the Dominican journalist Andrés Estrella Núñez, who was found dead last Friday in Santo Domingo, the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) regrets the loss of its colleague and demands that the Dominican authorities solve his death.
Organizations such as the National Union of Press Workers of the Dominican Republic (SNRP), an IFJ affiliate in that country, warned that Estrella Núñez had investigated high-ranking police authorities for acts of corruption."
