“On the night of Sept. 19, Marcos Efraín Montalvo, a renowned journalist from the [department of] Valle del Cauca, was assassinated with a firearm. The events were recorded by a security camera of the establishment where Montalvo apparently was when he was killed.
According to the information that is known so far, the events occurred in the La Esperanza neighborhood of Tuluá. Apparently, the man who murdered him arrived on a motorcycle, entered the commercial establishment and shot him repeatedly."
