"A journalist who had reported a death threat weeks earlier was murdered on Tuesday [Sept. 6] in front of the radio station where he worked in Pedro Juan Caballero, a violent city located in northeastern Paraguay on the border with Brazil, a police chief reported.
A person dressed in black who was traveling on a motorcycle shot at journalist Humberto Coronel, who was hosting a program on the Amambay radio station in the city located 280 miles north of the capital, said the region's police chief, Rubén Paredes. .
'We are in the incipient part of the investigation (...) it was a single person in black, with a helmet,' Paredes told reporters."
