Journalists assaulted by vice-president's security team in Dominican Republic

"An incident between the security team of Dominican Vice President Raquel Peña and members of the press led to tense moments this Friday [April 25], during the graduation ceremony of 3,048 new National Police officers, held at the Carlos -Teo-Cruz Boxing Coliseum [in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic].

The altercation occurred when a journalist tried to ask the Minister of Interior and Police, Faride Raful, about the march called by Haitian citizens in the Plaza de la Bandera, in the Dominican capital.
