Journalists condemn harassment of reporter by federal agents in Iguala, Mexico

"Journalists from Chilpancingo and Acapulco issued a statement of solidarity with their colleagues in the city of Iguala, especially Natividad Ambrosio Cueva, after she was harassed and intimidated by members of the Secretariat of Public Security and Citizen Protection, who, in addition to making threats, took photographs of her and her vehicle.

According to the journalist from Iguala, this Wednesday [Dec. 10] she went to cover the actions being carried out by experts from the Special Prosecutor's Office for the Ayotzinapa Case at funeral homes and the forensic medical service in that city.

There, a member of the security force tried to prevent them from doing their job, tried to stop them from taking photographs, and finally approached her to threaten her and then took pictures of her and her vehicle."
