"The Court of Santos has twice denied requests by Neymar Jr. and Neymar Sr. to ban the "Neymar" podcast, produced by UOL, from airing. Father and son asked for the publication to be vetoed by the Court and for them to have 30 days to evaluate the material used.
The lawsuit was filed on April 20, during the Easter break. The Neymar family based their argument on the fact that UOL claimed, when publishing the podcast, to have had access to confidential documents. According to the soccer player's staff, they had not been contacted in a timely manner to give their version of the story, which is not true.
