“In a video released in the last few hours, alias Iván Mordisco, top leader of the FARC dissidents, reappeared to issue a series of warnings while the country is still debating the recent bombing in which several minors recruited by that armed group died.
The message, recorded in a jungle area, mixes political speeches, unfounded accusations, and threats directed at both the government and the press, in an attempt to reposition itself while the Public Force's operations against its structures intensify.

The dissident leader also addressed part of his speech to the media. Without providing evidence, he accused journalists of acting in coordination with intelligence agencies. He even spoke of the possibility that they might be subjected to alleged 'trials' by the armed group, a threat that is generating concern among press freedom organizations and revives illegal practices that had already been denounced in the past."
