Magistrate Magda Zulema Mosri Gutiérrez, candidate for minister of Mexico's Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN), was accused of threatening journalist Álvaro Delgado Gómez with the phrase “This is as far as you go” ("hasta aquí llegaste") on the social media platform X after the journalist publicly pointed out that she is the partner of Gen. Rafael Macedo de la Concha, former head of the Attorney General's Office during the six-year term of former President Vicente Fox.
"Magistrate Magda Zulema Gutiérrez, candidate for minister of the SCJN, imposes censorship with the endorsement of the INE [National Electoral Institute, for its initials in Spanish]: She ordered Google to take down a video of [the analysis show] #SinEmbargoAlAire in which I say that she is the wife of Gen. Rafael Macedo de la Concha, head of the PGR with Vicente Fox. She alleges that it is political violence based on gender. Where is the violence? It is a true fact! The serious thing is that Guadalupe Tadei's INE endorsed the censorship," the journalist posted on his X account.
