"On the morning of this Thursday [June 17, 2021] journalist Gustavo Sánchez Cabrera was shot to death in the Morro Mazatán community, belonging to the municipality of Santo Domingo Tehuantepec, in the region of the Isthmus of Oaxaca, as confirmed by the Ombudsman's Office.
