"This week, both the office and home of Jesús Humberto González Deleija, photojournalist for El Mañana de Reynosa and recently host of the program La Comezón de la Raza, were raided by unknown individuals in Reynosa, Tamaulipas. The journalist, who has been the victim of aggressions both by authorities and by alleged members of organized crime since 2018, is under the Federal Mechanism for the Protection of Human Rights Defenders and Journalists.
On Monday, Feb. 28, Jesús Humberto realized that the door of his office had been opened by an unknown individual, who stole a backpack with his laptop computer. According to the journalist's testimony, despite having other computers, this was the only equipment taken from the facilities."
