Social security program for self-employed journalists launches in Mexico

"The general coordinator of Social Communication of the Presidency of the Republic [of Mexico], Jesús Ramírez Cuevas, presented a social security program for independent or self-employed journalists in Mexico.

'For the Government of Mexico it is fundamental that all workers have fair salaries and social security. Today we are making the proposal for independent journalists to have this comprehensive social security, that is, access to care for illnesses, work accidents, disability, old age and even death,' he said."
