"On Monday [Oct. 13], an unidentified person threw a Molotov cocktail and a bullet wrapped in paper with a threatening message at the home of Paraguayan journalist Aníbal Benítez, director of a digital media outlet specializing in legal news, in the third attack against journalists in the city of Lambaré (central Paraguay).
Benítez told the NPY channel that he was with his family inside his home when they heard ‘a very loud noise’ and when he went out into his yard he saw the bottle of a Molotov cocktail that burned part of the grass. A closed-circuit camera captured a man arriving on a motorcycle, lighting the device and throwing it at a glass window of one of the rooms of the house, said Benítez, who indicated that no one was injured.
The journalist said he found a bullet wrapped in a piece of paper with the words 'be careful' written on it."
