“Cheryl Ann Branker, the mother of journalist Rory Branker, on Tuesday demanded concrete information from Venezuelan Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello and Attorney General Tarek William Saab about her son’s whereabouts. Branker has now been forcibly disappeared for three months in Venezuela.
In a video shared on social media, Branker condemned the lack of official information since her son vanished, saying the silence has only deepened her anguish and despair.
‘I want to know where my son is (…) It’s been three months since I’ve seen him. I’m suffering. I don’t know anything about him. Three months without a word—I feel like I’m dying inside. No one calls me, no one tells me anything. I’m in limbo,’ she said through tears.”
