"On Dec. 14, the Nicaraguan National Police forcefully evicted journalist Carlos Fernando Chamorro; the president of the Nicaraguan Center for Human Rights (Cenidh), Vilma Núñez, and a group of journalists who were covering the press conference of the director of newspaper Confidencial, held to demand the return of the offices of this media outlet and Esta Semana, illegally occupied since December 2018.
Chamorro said: 'We are confirming this occupation, at dawn on Dec. 14. Our newsroom is occupied by armed police.'"
