"'La Resistencia [the resistance]' has carried out several attacks against politicians, journalists, social leaders, and human rights defenders in the last weeks without being stopped by the authorities. In view of this, Congresswoman Flor Pablo officially requested the Attorney General, Patricia Benavides, that the Public Prosecutor's Office initiate an ex officio investigation against members of this ultra-right-wing group.
Through an official letter, issued this June 28, the non-affiliated congresswoman highlighted the repeated acts of violence perpetrated by La Resistencia through the use of sticks, flares, bombs, and even throwing excrement."
