“Journalist and writer Marco Sifuentes — host of the online news program ‘La Encerrona,’ which has denounced the [corruption scandal known as] 'Rolexgate' against the president of Peru, Dina Boluarte — reported having been the victim of aggression in Lima on Saturday [Nov. 30], after giving a talk on journalism.
Sifuentes shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account images of the alleged aggressor, who stayed outside the premises where he gave the talk to allegedly assault him again, which was prevented by private security staff.
'Don't worry, I'm fine, but the person [who attacked me] is clearly unstable and the best thing to do is to leave a record,' Sifuentes posted. He added that after waiting for the National Police for almost two hours, he went to the police station to file his complaint.”
