"Peru's National Association of Journalists (ANP, by its Spanish acronym) demanded justice for the 40 journalists injured, two of them seriously, during the 2020 anti-government demonstrations, and that the State guarantee that 'these abuses' will not be repeated, in a statement shared this Tuesday [Nov. 14] on social media.
'No one responsible has been sanctioned! We demand justice and effective measures from the State to protect the press. No to impunity,' ANP wrote on its account on the social network X, formerly Twitter."
