"Journalist César Hildebrandt, editor of the weekly Hildebrandt en sus Trece, denounced that the Ministry of the Interior and the Peruvian National Police have sent him documents requesting that he reveal confidential sources.
According to the documents provided by the weekly to the National Association of Journalists of Peru (ANP, by its Spanish acronym), these are two letters addressed to the editor of the weekly corresponding to Oct. 4 and 19 sent from different offices of the Ministry of the Interior, one of them at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office."
