“The National Association of Journalists of Peru (ANP, for its initials in Spanish) rejected this Monday [March 24] statements from Peruvian Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzén, who said some media are giving 'a soft coup', in reference to the investigations they're carrying out on President Dina Boluarte and members of her administration.
'The ANP rejects the expressions of Gustavo Adrianzén, who reiterates his accusation to media of aiming to 'give a soft coup' and points out 'a misuse of freedom of expression and information' in a column spread in the government newspaper El Peruano', the association said on the social network X on Sunday night [March 23].”
