“At a meeting in the Government Palace, executives of the CPP [Peruvian Press Council] asked President Pedro Castillo to sign the Declarations of Chapultepec and Salta in light of the recent attacks on journalists, the limitations that exist on their daily work.
The president stated that he would analyze both documents and that he would send the CPP a letter on the matter."
