“The anti-money laundering prosecutor [of Peru] Yovana Mori García, appointed as the person in charge of the Panama Papers Case in 2016, threatened Ojo Público with resorting to the Judiciary to request the seizure of documents related to the journalistic investigation into the law firm Mossack Fonseca, which originated as a collaborative effort led by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ, based in the United States), the German daily Süddeutsche Zeitung and more than 100 allied media globally."
