Protester assaults TV crew of channel LN+ during coverage of protest in Buenos Aires

"A demonstrator assaulted a reporter from the channel LN+ [belonging to Argentina's La Nación group] on Wednesday, Feb 19. The incident occurred during a protest at Congress [in Buenos Aires] over various grievances, including cuts to retirees, failure to update bonuses [for retirees] and intervention at the Bonaparte Hospital.

The aggressor insulted Nicolás Edwin, the channel's reporter, then insulted cameraman Gonzalo Fernández and hit the camera. Seconds later, the demonstrator tore off part of the journalist's microphone.

[...]

'You are accomplices, you set all this up and now you come to cover it,' the demonstrator shouted, rebuking Edwin live on air. After that, the reporter tried to continue reporting and to engage in dialogue with the aggressor, who just continued insulting him.”
