"This Thursday [Oct.26], the Surinamese Association of Journalists (SVJ) condemned the shooting of a radio station critical of the Government of Suriname, while the Police investigate to solve what happened.
The day before, unknown assailants shot at Radio LIM FM station in Paramaribo, where the owner, Clifton Limburg, resides with his family.
Limburg was a spokesperson for former President Desi Bouterse during the previous government and his radio show 'Bakana Tori' is critical of the current administration of Chandrikapersad Santokhi."
