"Registration for the 7th edition of the Brazilian Conference on Journalism of Data and Digital Methods (Coda.Br 2022) is open. Aimed at journalists and civil society organizations, the event will be held in a hybrid way: online from Oct. 31 to Nov. 3 and in person on Nov. 5 and Nov. 6 at ESPM in São Paulo. […] The largest data journalism conference in Latin America will address topics such as citizen generation of data, transparency of public data, issues related to technology and privacy, and the celebration of 50 years of precision journalism.
The event features workshops on techniques for covering municipal budgets; rights in accessing public data; investigation of territorial and land data and even information about advertisements on social networks. The schedule also includes two bootcamps (intensive training) to introduce Python and R languages.
