The controversy came after the initial hearing in the criminal process Jaime Perla faced on March 17 for allegedly sexually harassing reporter Wendy Hernández, of the government's Channel 10 during a live broadcast.
Hernández told her colleagues that the judge told her that 'she should be used to that type of comment' because of her position as a journalist. 'It was a very unfortunate situation,' said the television reporter, who pointed out that 'harassment on social networks has increased' against her."
