Registration for the 2025 Sigma Awards is now open for data journalism projects published in 2024. Registration can be submitted free of charge until Feb. 28, using an online form available on the award's official website.
The award maintains its rule of not having categories and will have data journalism experts from around the world making up its jury and awards committee. Works from individuals, smaller newsrooms or larger teams can be entered. Candidates can submit as many projects as they want.
This year, the competition will be organized by the Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN).
