"Salvador 'N' alias 'Chava' or 'Chavita' was arrested by members of the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM, for its initials in Spanish) for his alleged responsibility for the murder of journalist Calletano de Jesús Guerrero.
In a statement, the agency reported that, during an operation in the municipality of Villa del Carbón, in the State of Mexico, Investigative Police were carrying out investigations when he tried to evade them and shot them with a firearm.
However, the uniformed officers repelled the attack. He was arrested and taken to a hospital in the region to receive medical attention.
'Chavita' is also investigated for his alleged participation in the theft of hydrocarbons in the State of Mexico and Hidalgo."
