In a program from digital media outlet La Posta, broadcast on Aug. 29, 2023, their representatives, Andersson Boscán and Luis Vivanco, announced that they will 'immediately' submit a request for precautionary measures in Washington (United States) to the IACHR, to order the Ecuadoran State to provide measures for the protection of its integrity and that of its work team."
Editor's note: The Gran Padrino case was reported by La Posta in January 2023 and allegedly involves corruption in public companies in the country and the brother-in-law of President Guillermo Lasso.
