"An act of violence against a sports journalist following the first leg of the championship final in Bogotá has sparked outrage on social media. This time, a Telemedellín news crew was assaulted by three fans of the local Santa Fe soccer team.
The incident occurred as journalist Santiago Ramírez and videographer Mauricio Escobar were preparing to go live for the 6 a.m. broadcast from the pedestrian bridge outside El Campín Stadium.
While delivering their final report, three individuals wearing Santa Fe jerseys approached them, verbally assaulted the crew, and obstructed the camera, interfering with their work."
