The organization pointed out these attacks and threats to journalists in the region should serve as an 'urgent call' to strengthen both the investigation processes and the protection mechanisms for media professionals. The organization emphasized the importance of providing support to judges, prosecutors, police forces and other key actors involved in the protection of freedom of expression."
