“The case of La Patilla journalist Ana Carolina Guaita, detained since Aug. 20 in Venezuela, was brought to trial in a hearing on Monday, Nov. 11, and she was sentenced to prison.
Guaita was charged with inciting hatred, terrorism and obstruction of a public highway. The information was reported by political leader César Pérez Vivas over his social media accounts.
