Venezuelan journalists Ramón Centeno and Gabriel Guerra detained for four months

"The National College of Journalists (CNP, by its Spanish acronym) Caracas branch, informed this Monday, June 6, that community journalists Ramón Centeno and Gabriel Guerra, are imprisoned in the National Anti-Drug Office (ONA) in San Agustín, Caracas, after conducting an interview with some detainees for alleged links to drug trafficking.

According to the CNP, both journalists are being held without a court order and are being deprived of their liberty in flagrant violation of due process.

Both Centeno and Guerra were charged with the alleged crimes of association to commit a crime, influence peddling and usurpation of functions. Both have been imprisoned for more than 120 days."
