"A TV Globo producer was assaulted Tuesday afternoon in Brasília while filming a segment for the Jornal Nacional newscast. The crew was recording footage near a National Institute of Social Security (INSS) office when the producer was suddenly attacked and put in a chokehold by an unidentified man.
According to the network, the attacker has not yet been identified. The reporter and cameraman who were with the producer intervened quickly, preventing the situation from escalating. The crew left the scene and went to a police station to file a report.
The segment they were working on focused on 'puxadores' — people who illegally approach INSS beneficiaries offering to expedite the release of social security payments."
