"Venezuelan journalist Joan Camargo was released on Tuesday [Nov. 4], after being forcibly disappeared for more than 100 hours. It remains unclear who was responsible for his abduction, and details surrounding his release have not yet been disclosed.
The National Union of Press Workers (SNTP, by its Spanish acronym) was the first organization to report his release and urged authorities to investigate the five days he was held captive.
Camargo’s disappeared about 8:05 a.m. on Oct. 30, when he left home on his motorcycle to carry out his daily routine. Witnesses said a red car and a motorcycle intercepted him, and men dressed in black forced him into the vehicle."
