Argentine reporter hospitalized after exposure to illegal crop dusting

An Argentine journalist said he should be admitted to a hospital after breathing an airborne pesticide fumigated in a field 50 meters outside the town center of Alberti, Buenos Aires province, reported the newspaper Hoy. Journalist Oscar Alfredo Di Vincensi filmed the illegal crop dusting, which is prohibited within a 1,000-meter radius around homes, added the newspaper.

The reporter released the images on social networks and alleged that the field's owner is the brother of the chief of Food Science and the Environment, María Beatriz Zunino, reported the newspaper Hoy and the website El Sol Online.

Afterwards, the reporter was admitted for posioning and and respritory problems, according to the website La Gaceta del Oeste. He announced he would file a complaint.
